Meet Our Team
Ron Schaeffer – Chief Executive Officer
Ron is a product and strategy veteran in the worlds of connectivity, IoT and mobile devices. He has over 25 years of experience in leadership roles covering product management, portfolio planning and product development for mobile phones & smartphones, semiconductors, IoT, connected cars and consumer electronics. Ron conceived, managed & launched some of the world’s first smartphones in the late 90s & early 00s. Prior to pureLiFi, Ron held positions at Motorola, Philips, Wolfson and UK mobile phone start-up Sendo, as well as running an independent technology product consultancy.
Bill Galione – SVP Global Sales
Bill has more than 30 years of experience in various Sales, Marketing and General Management positions with global semiconductor companies providing silicon system solutions to customers in multiple high growth vertical markets. Prior to joining pureLiFi Bill was President of Fingerprint Cards Inc. in San Jose, CA, where he partnered with leading mobile phone makers contributing to establishing the company’s market leading position. Bill has also held Executive Sales roles at Wolfson Microelectronics and ST-Ericsson. Previously Bill was a founding member of NXP when it spun out of Philips Semiconductors where he was VP & GM Sales & Marketing Operations Americas.
Bart Bowser – Chief Commercial Officer
Bart has spent the last 25 years working internationally for or managing some of the largest Telecom companies. He has worked across a variety of differing technologies from Mobile devices and network Infrastructure through to digital transformation delivered with Industrialized IoT. Whilst much of his focus has been on leading commercial roles, he has experience in building strategic partnerships and being a solution evangelist. Starting in the late 90s with BT, Bart has gone on to hold positions in companies such as Orange, Motorola, and Telefonica. He globally managed and built strategic partnerships with companies such as Nokia and Ericsson.
Sarah Scace – Chief Marketing & Communications Officer
Sarah Scace is an experienced Marketing & Communications leader with 20 years of experience across various industries. Her career began in the craft brewing industry before transitioning to working on brand development and digital presence for a range of companies across North America within finance, oil & gas, and telecommunications. After relocating to Scotland from Toronto, she worked with one of King Charles III Charities, PSYBT, before joining Edinburgh Innovations, the commercialization arm of the University of Edinburgh. In 2016, Sarah joined pureLiFi, to lead the development of their Marketing and Communications efforts.
