Jennifer is a commercial lawyer with over 20 years of experience. She has spent the majority of her career providing practical solutions based advice as an in-house lawyer in a diverse range of organisations from telecoms, to pensions and investment consultancy, to local government and the Scottish Parliament. In addition she spent a few years working on large projects including PPP/PFI within a private practice legal firm. Jennifer has particular expertise in drafting and negotiating contract terms, contract risk management, confidentiality, intellectual property rights and procurement as well as the general assortment of legal issues that comes with being an inhouse lawyer. She graduated from the University of Glasgow with LLB(Hons) and Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Practice and after completing her traineeship, qualified as a Scottish solicitor in 2002.
